The former Manchester city striker and Italian international star , Mario Balotelli 's brother has revealed why his brother declined to play for the Black Stars of Ghana . The Former Liverpool foward recieved a call up from the Ghana Football Association , trying to make him change his mind from representing the Italian national team , the Striker had interest from the both countries , and he decided to play for the Italian National team . The 28 year old was born in Sicily in Italy to Ghanian father Thomas Barwuah and a Ghanian mother Rose Barwuah , Balotelli played for italian nation team for 34 times and scored 14 goals in the process , The younger brother to the former Mancity striker 's brother , Corrado Balotelli , revealed that his brother chosed Italy over Ghana because he wanted to paly for Italy in the international level instead of the Black stars of Ghana "
