Entertainment Leon Edwards defended his belt at O2 Arena on Saturday night , he defeated the Nigerian Nightmare , Kamaru Usman on points . Leon is the first fighter to hand Usman his first defeat in 10 years and in his 4 years of championship reign as the Welterweight champion . Edwards Shocked Kamaru with a hard hit headkick that knocked him out last August . Both fighters gave a very good account of themselves and they took the fight to a distance at the O2 Arena on Saturday night , Leon re-extablished himself as the Welterweight champion by defeating the former champion , Kamaru Usman the second time in London on saturday night . It was his second defeat in 10 years . Leon Edwards retains his Welterweight championship belt with a win against the Nigerian last night .
